Catherine is an interspecies psychic reader, flower essence consultant and Reiki Master. She started her professional life as a college professor of French.

After ten years of teaching French (human to human communication), she turned to interviewing guests on her radio and television talk shows (more communication!). She has been devoted to metaphysical studies since the early 1980s. Several years ago Catherine began reading companion animals, with the blessing of her own cat companions (Douceur and Mont-Blanc) who, although now in Spirit, continue to treat her as an honorary member of their species.

She has been writing a weekly pet psychic column for the Waterfront Journal http://www.nj.com/columns/waterfrontjournal/ferguson/ since April 2002. She also serves as a consultant for several Hudson County, NJ rescue organizations. In her spare time, Catherine writes for the theater.
